Hi I'm David Ross. I'm from Littleton, Colorado and grew up loving the outdoors.  I got into art in college and did ceramics, painting, drawing and more. Little did I know then that photography would be my calling.

It all started in Aspen, CO while on a sales trip during the amazing fall colors.  I decided I needed new color Colorado photos for my customers.  I had access to a few John Fielder photos but nothing new.  So I made it happen.  I got a decent camera and began my hunt for great photographs of the west.  That was in the fall of 2011.  Many years, 4 cameras, thousands of pictures, and dozens of trips later, here are some of my favorites.  

Sometimes magic things have happened to me while shooting and those moments are especially amazing to share.  I hope you enjoy this gallery site and please feel free to Shop on Fine Art America.

I live in Conifer, Colorado with my wife and kids.  I love playing disc golf, snowboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, and playing with my kids!

I shot some of these photographs with my Sony A5000, then upgraded to a Sony A7RII, now I’m shooting with the Sony A7RV My art distributor has published many of my favorite shots, so I sell signed, limited edition prints through stores around the Rocky Mountain Region.
