An incredible fall morning at the Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado. The sunrise shot through and lit the peaks with light. As it pinched back into the clouds, the wind calmed, and the water stilled for the perfect reflection. I call it “Bells on Fire”.
Conditions were perfect for this fall moment. The sun lit the rain clouds in the distance and illuminated a hillside of colorful aspen trees. I found this horse in the distance so I ran around to line it into the shot. I call it “Storm Horse”.

On a clear night in early June, I set up for a milky way shot behind Devils Tower in Wyoming. The galaxy rose up over the tower and just before midnight, the moon started to rise too. The moonrise glow on the clouds make this one of my favorite night shots!
